Admission Requirements for International Students
A Checklist
- Completed Application for International Admission
- Official high school transcript sent directly by high school to WVU Tech Admissions Office (Required before registering for courses)
- Grades for high school classes currently being taken (if applicable)
- Official transcript of prior college work sent directly by college to WVU Tech Admissions Office (if applicable)
- Official documentation of TOEFL or IELTS scores sent directly to WVU Tech Admissions Office
- Proof of Financial Support (Must show availability of funds equivalent to projected costs for one full year of study, as determined in the
International Budget Planner

- Completed Immunization Form [Snippet Error: This file has been deleted.]
- $100 (USD) application fee (Money order, cashier’s check or check from a US bank payable to “WVU-Tech”)
- ACT or SAT score – or equivalent (Required of applicants seeking eligibility for the WVU Tech Non-Resident Freshman Scholarship or the STEM Scholarship)
- $200 SEVIS Fee (Paid separately)
